HELPFUL TIP: Keep in mind, when you schedule a home inspection you are looking for major issues and big ticket items such as structural damage, septic, well, roof, furnace/AC, and major leaks or foundation problems. Don't think of the report like a checklist of items that you need to have repaired before closing. Think of it as your "honey-do" list after closing. Remember, home inspectors are paid to find everything wrong with the property even down to the smallest thing such as a missing light switch plate.
